“Recent reports have been received about youths in this area causing Anti-Social Behaviour at Burtonwood Road.  They have been throwing bottles, litter, etc. onto the train track. Police are paying extra attention to this area to address this ASB.”

Cheshire Police (8.5.12)

Pupils are being informed about the above serious situation in Assemblies this week. They are being asked to report if they observe this kind of ASB to school or parents as soon as possible. Thank you for your support in alerting young people to this growing problem.

We were delighted to receive £100 from Great Sankey Parish Council to commemorate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee this week.

Councillors Veronica and Phil Hudson presented the cheque to school at our Year 7 Assembly.  A litter bin with plaques commemorating the Jubilee, donors and the winning ‘60 words for 60 years’ have been ordered.

Sincere thanks to the Parish Council.
